You will need to purchase an acrylic spray varnish separately to set the mica pigments, enhance the colors, protect the painting, and add a subtle gloss finish. Resin is optional for those seeking a more elegant glossy look with vibrant colors and depth. These items can be found at art supply stores, Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot.
